Norvenich/ETNN 31-01-14

After the departure of the two KC-135s at Geilenkirchen, I decided to head along the A4 to Norvenich and see if I could catch some Eurofighters returning from their morning missions. 50 mins later I arrived at the eastern end and about 15 mins later, some lights appeared on final. This was the Tornado making a low approach, and less than 10 mins later, a 4-ship of Eurofighters (shown right) appeared overhead. Once they had all landed, it was only 20mins before another 2-ship returned and after a couple of touch and goes, they landed. Then, around 11:45 a C-160 passed overhead, around 8000ft, but sadly this appeared to be inbound Cologne, and defied identification. All in all though, a productive hour and well worth the drive over!
